Speaking about a distance of 50 metres, here the area of laser tag shot is same in size as that produced by a biathlon pellet. To turn the BI-7 on or off, use the button located at the front of the device. It will only take 1 – 2 seconds to activate it. The 3-line Mosin-Nagant is the famous example of Russian small arms. Originally used during the Russian-Japanese War and First World War, it was later used by the Red Army soldiers during the hard times of the Great Patriotic War. Created at the end of the 19th century, the Russian 3-line rifle remained reliable and up-to-date, good enough for our brave soldiers. This rifle turned out to be one the first rifle systems ever deployed by army systems. We couldn’t but give it proper attention. Another unique model has been added to the already wide LASERWAR range. OVERALL IMPRESSION Many years have passed since its creation, but still one can feel the magnificence of the Mosin-Nagant. The play model is a true copy of its combat prototype. Rifle parts are made from wood and are pleasant to the touch. Breechblock mechanics has been left unchanged. We aimed to preserve the authentic look. Therefore, there is no switch mechanism, reloading button nor charger inlet on the body of the device. The only details that give away a laser tag blaster in it are the On/Off indicator and the optical barrel. The former is on the left-hand side of the bed of sight. It does not draw too much attention, yet it serves to indicate whether the blaster is on or off. For the optical system, a small-size barrel has been used. It does not seem to be enormous, yet it looks like a continuation of the 3-liner barrel. The length of the play set is 138 cm. The 2.2 Ah lithium-ion accumulator fitted inside of the rifle guarantees 30 hours of non-stop operation. The charger jack has been fitted on the stock. To find it, unscrew the bolt on the buttpad. ACTIVATION AND RELOADING To turn on the play set, push the ramrod end. Perform the same action to turn it off. Ramrods are not used during laser tag games. Thus, we decided to use this detail for activation. The device comes with breechblock reloading. Its sliding character has been left unchanged. In order to reload the device, move the breechblock handle to the left, slide the breechblock backwards, move it forward and turn the handle to the right until the end. It shares its popularity only with the Kalashnikov rifle. The disputes as to which of the two rifles is more effective are still going on. The M-16 is the main weapon of numerous Hollywood action movie heroes that have been tirelessly saving the world for several decades now. Therefore, to make working with this device easier, we suggest that you edit the time to explosion parameter immediately before the game, while in admin mode. As to the main settings (such as the type of active command), you had better select them in advance through the configurator. To select the programming mode for your device, launch the program, open the Bomb menu in the Devices unit, connect the USB base to a PC. Place it in such a way that the base sensors were in front of the infrared sensor of the laser tag bomb. To activate the bomb, turn the key at the side of the body while holding the red button. The device will enter the programming mode within 2 to 3 seconds. Upon that, the type of connected device will appear on the configurator. The following parameters can be programmed: Button holding time for activation – the time that is required to hold the button of the bomb before it can be used. For this parameter, you can select a value between 1 and 255 seconds. Button holding time for deactivation – the time that is required to hold the button of the bomb before it can be neutralized. For this parameter, too, you can select a value between 1 and 255 seconds. Shoot to confirm activation – you can choose to leave this parameter on or off. Only a live player can confirm activation by a shot, which rules out any cheating. Shoot to confirm deactivation – this parameter can be turned on or off. Time to explosion – time interval after which the bomb will detonate. For this parameter, you can select a value between 1 and 255 seconds. Active command – here, the client has a choice of 65 commands, which guarantees a wide variety of scenarios when using this device. Launch the game using the control button or any LASERWAR remote. The pattern of the game will now depend on the scenario that has been chosen in the settings. Scenario 1. As the game begins, the countdown will start on the digital display. When 3 seconds have been left till the end of the game, the device will produce intermittent sound signals. After that, the impulse will be produced. The instructor can also set up a random impulse – in this case, it will only become clear which impulse has been selected 3 seconds before it has to be produced. Scenario 2. At the start of the game, the device belongs to one of the teams. As the game begins, the team sign acquires the relevant colour and the countdown begins. After the selected time interval, a treatment impulse will be produced. When a player from a rival team shoots the device, he takes away the base strength points which equal the power of the shot. After a particular time period, the strength starts getting restored. After it has been fully restored, the base starts sending off treatment impulses again. The base is considered to be destroyed and cannot be restored should it have lost all its strength points. Scenario 3. At the start of the game, the point is neutral. After a player has shot it, the point has been captured by the player’s team and signalizes about this as the team’s sign acquires the relevant colour. There is a short delay after the shot, then the point produces the Radiation impulse and starts treating the players of the team that have captured it. If the point has been in a team’s possession for a particular time interval, the game ends and the point displays the colour of the team that has won. SETTING UP To set up the universal point, one must enter the admin mode. In order to do this, turn on the device by pushing and holding the control button. Use same button to do all the setup. It has been mentioned above that there are 3 types of scenarios available for players. Each of them has several variable parameters. There is a clear and simple basic principle, that is, you can switch between the parameters right inside the scenario. Select the next parameter by pushing and holding the control button for more than 3 seconds. After a 5 second pause, the device will switch over to editing the scenario number. In 10 seconds, the selected parameters will be saved in the memory of the device and the point will notify about this by producing a short sound signal. The following parameters can be edited: 1st scenario (“C_1”): “CodE”: impulse type (a sign of a particular type gets illuminated). “dt” with a countdown indicator: impulse frequency. “n”: number of impulses. 2nd scenario (“C_2”): “Cd”: team (with a team colour indicator). “HP”: number of base strength points. “dtHP”: base restoration start delay. “dHP”: number of strength points added per second at restoration. “dt” with a treatment indicator: treatment impulse frequency. “n”: number of treatment impulses. 3d scenario (“C_3”): “dt”: round duration. “dt” with a radiation indicator: radiation impulse delay. “dt” with a treatment indicator: treatment impulse frequency. “n”: number of treatment impulses. It was fixed into the groove on the receiver jacket. The magazine latch is also used as protective “ears” for the sight. The bipod is attached to the receiver jacket using a metal slide and is easy to fold. In order to do this, push the bipod legs up to the barrel and fold them up together. They can be easily removed for transportation. To do this, unscrew just one bolt. STOCK AND TRIGGER MACHANISM The wooden stock is same as that of the Madsen machine gun. It has a pistol type small of the stock; the gunstock comb makes aiming more comfortable. The length of the stock from the trigger to the buttpad is 36 cm. The stock is 4 cm wide. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the gun comes with the original gun oiling brush which was used for oiling all the moving mechanisms of the weapon. On the receiver jacket and on the left-hand side of the stock, there are sling swivels. This play set has a peculiar trigger mechanism. In May 2017, we witnessed the first Russian sports laser tag tournament. 38 teams from Russia and Belarus took part in the event. The event was interesting, exciting and tense. Nobody could tell who would be the vinner until the very end of the fight. In this article we'll be talking about one of the most active participants in the laser tag community. We are talking about Lasgard, a tactical training club, that by the way, won bronze at MLT-2016. We would like to tell you how we started the business as well as share some ideas related to the future of the club. Evgeny Likhovitsky, a club owner, is going to share all the secrets. "The story of my business began almost 10 years ago. The idea shaped in 2009, when our team were coming back from a big airsoft event. Leaving the huge tent city, we happily shouted: "Thank you for the game!" We thanked our teammates as well as opponents. It was great! But why is it available only to a man who invested a small African country's budget to the beloved hobby? The game and expenses related to it shouldn't cost a fortune. Everyone should afford this great experience, especially children. That was the topic of our conversation on our long way home. And we found the solution — laser tag. First, my companion and I wanted to open our line of laser tag production and become weapons developers. We thought special chemical elements used in the production of equipment would become the distinctive feature of the company. We made a research and found out that the cost of polymeric materials was too high, so was the cost of the technology. By that time, we had already purchased the first weapons, the first clients started coming to our club. We decided  to continue developing our club. In October 2012, we opened a rental club in one of Krasnogorsk city parks. A young man came to the club and started asking about things like a number of wounds, range operating principles of the remote control, control point devices.  He knew the subject well. This is how we met Dmitry, a fighter of the legendary "The Devil" team, a multiple winner, and a champion of all sorts of tournaments in Switzerland, the USA, Hong Kong, St. Petersburg. We soon learned he lived  in a five minutes' walk from us. It was a divine sign for us. Weekly exercises began under his command. He developed a curriculum, training program, as well as different exercises. Special military groups took part in all this as well. "Honor" is one of them. I can't tell you more about the guys - it's top secret. So now we're a kind of athletics class than a club. This is our main feature: We have more than 30 participants with different levels of training. The average age is 16 years. Boys and girls come to each lesson and game every day with enthusiasm. They forget about phones and tablets, live in reality, and meet new friends. Now we have sports activities on demand of the county authorities, organize tournaments between patriotic clubs. Each public holiday (Youth Day, Town Day) is impossible to imagine without songs, salutes and... our games! The hardest thing for us was making laser tag popular. At the very beginning of our activity, we used marketing strategies to gain popularity. No one knew about laser tag in Krasnogorsk. We had to promote this type of entertainment. Actually, I'm a professional in the fields of marketing and journalism. So all the public relations depended on me. It was big pleasure to tell people about laser tag, its features, the benefits for adults and kids. One of the most difficult tasks was meeting with deputy principals of 32 schools. I talked about laser tag and benefits it could bring to children. I was scared to talk with so many deputy principles but I managed. It all went well. Your club may have its own cool features. The third point is the place. You shouldn't necesserily search for a training area. It can be an abandoned building as well as a nearby grove. Use your imagination, you can create your own unique playground. If you have an appropriete place, the weather won't be a problem for you.  It is very important for your clients. Today we are presenting a new model for laser tag enthusiasts – the PROROK AKM of the ORIGINAL edition with Magpul accessories. It is no secret that the old good AKM is well known and highly popular in the USA. Many small arms companies took up finishing off the assault rifle in the attempt to refine its austere and bold design in their American manner. The majority of them tried to achieve this by adding AR-15 accessories to it. First impression – a familiar stranger The customary Kalashnikov outline changed in a magic way and acquired new unusual features and characteristics. The Magpul add-ons remarkably modernized its outward appearance. In what other ways has the blaster been changed by the customization besides the altered look? Let’s find out, one by one. Body and electronics The blaster body is made from steel and aluminium alloys, which means that it is extra durable. Due to the fact that the accessories are made of thermoplastic polymer, the blaster is lightweight. The magazine incorporates a loud speaker, an indication LED and a charger inlet. The 2.2 Ah accumulators provide up to 30 hours of continuous operation. They can be charged using a charger of the Li+ range. The device can be turned on by means of a fire mode selector. Besides, the selector is used to choose between the single fire mode and the auto fire mode. To turn the blaster on, first, select the single fire mode (By choosing the bottom option). The fire mode selector will function in the usual mode then. To reload the blaster, rack the slide. The optical system has been fitted inside the external barrel. It gives an effective range of up to 185 metres. Gun stock and trigger You are going to be pleasantly surprised by the changes done to the gun stock. First, it is foldable. It does not fold on the left, though, as usual, but on the right. The producers consider this a very sensible change, for sights are frequently mounted on adaptors on the left-hand side and the stock would have interfered with them. Second, the stock is telescopic and can be regulated to have 5 length positions. A convenient latch allows to increase the stock length by 7 cm. the rubberized shoulder pad won’t slide when held against a shoulder. The ergonomically designed MOE grip is very comfortable to hold. The weapon comes with a standard AK trigger. Sights and rails The device is fitted with a standard foresight and a non-adjustable back sight. A collimator or an optical sight can be mounted onto the Picatinny rail that is attached to the gun barrel. Additional rails can be mounted below or on either side of the extended plastic Magpul handguard that conceals most of the gun barrel. The gas vent is hidden beneath the plastic cover. MP-532 Rifle A new mid-range rifle has been added to the line of 2.0 laser biathlon. Based on the Baikal MP-532 sports pneumatic rifle, it has preserved the weight and dimensions of a biathlon rifle, meaning that it can be effectively used for training, while being more affordable. Compared to the older model based on the BI-7-5, it has a simplified reloading process. The rifle is turned on by means of a button on the right-hand side of the wooden stock. It can be reloaded by means of a button conveniently placed for a left hand. The weapon turning on and reloading time roughly corresponds to the time of handloading of a BI-7-5. The gun is fitted with a ghost ring and an adjustable dioptre sight. The stock comes with an adjustable rubberized shoulder pad that allows to regulate the rifle to fit the individual needs of a sportsman. The cheek pad of the stock is non-adjustable. The grip is very comfortable. The rifle has borrowed the optical system, the electronics and all the functions of the laser BI-7-5. The shooting adjustment mode has been realized in it, too. To enter the mode, push and hold the reload button, turn the rifle on and pull the trigger three times. Upon that, the laser emitter will enter the automatic fire mode to enable the shooter to adjust the sight. If you click on the reload button three times more, you will enter the settings mode. In this mode, you can select the number of additional cartridges, of magazines, the type of reloading and sound effects. You can switch between the available options by pressing the reload button and confirm your selection by pulling the trigger. The rifle is fed by the lithium accumulator. Any 5B device with a mini USB input can be used for charging the rifle. The charger input is on the left-hand side of the stock. OUTWARD FEATURES ALICE is a load bearing system made from fabric and fitted with defeat sensors with 2 control units. The control units are at the back section of the vest so they do not interfere with player’s maneuvers in any way. The 8 defeat sensors can be roughly divided into 3 zones: the back, the shoulder and the front zone. We evenly distributed them over the vest surface so as to ensure maximum hits detection. We have implemented a reliable MOLLE system in the vest construction which has proved itself over time. The strong nylon bands sewn onto the vest form cells. They will easily accommodate items and devices with different functions: cases, cartridge pouches, grenades, a torch and even a laser tag knife. The vest has a waist band which, besides its main function, supports a player’s back, thus decreasing load impact. There are 2 Fastex fastenings at the chest and at the waist. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, too. They are secured around one’s arm by Velcro, meaning that the construction will fit any size. The vest is constructed in such a way that a player will be able to both put it on and take it off by himself and will not have to seek help of other players or the instructor. The team of LASERWAR developers have completed yet another stage of expanding the possibilities of equipment and software, which resulted in the creation of a new 8.4.5 version of the LASERWAR CONFIGURATOR programme and the release of firmware upgrades for the weapons of the 8th and the 9th generations. Let’s find out what changes have been introduced. The updated LASERTAG CONFIGURATOR has gained 4 additional sound presets: ‘Stalker: bandits’, ‘Battlefield’, ‘Star Wars’, and ‘PPSH’. The new sound lines have been inspired by games and films that have become classic now. The Great Patriotic War tunes in the ‘PPSH’ preset will be useful for historic reconstructions. 224 new sounds are now available for the users. Besides, in the new program version, some bugs interfering with Bluetooth connection have been fixed and the connection has been made more stable. Changes have been done to weapon firmware versions 8 (8.01.63) and 9 (9.02.43). 1. Bleeding and regeneration algorithms have been improved. By default, teams are set to 10% of a player’s life energy. 2. The auto revival function in the mode of limited round time has been reconsidered. Now if the preset round time ends player regeneration will not work. 3. The phrase ‘Medic – I need help’ that appears on pushing the reload button has been removed. 4. In case a player is deactivated, the sensors on a headband will glow the whole 10 seconds, thus signalling that a player is indeed ‘neutralised’. LASERWAR always supports those laser tag games at which storylines, playing roles and undertaking quests are in the first place. Svetlana Markova’s game did not become an exception. She is known as an active laser tag player, an organizer of many games, the Private Military Company General at the 2017 MLT. Therefore, we couldn’t but pay due attention to the event considered to be virtually the best in the last few years. On 19 August, the Fallout Universe game took place in Mokshino. The game was organized by a Zombie Zadrots team known to the participants by a no-nonsense approach to scenarios preparation. The fellows had arranged events before: in 2016, the team had held a cool battle that received acclaim among the players. In 2017, players laid high expectations on the organizers – they wanted a game that would carry the atmosphere of the Fallout Universe. The organizers lived up to the game fans’ expectations. The players received complete freedom of actions: while carrying out their missions, they could pop into a bar for additional tasks, solve puzzles in a dungeon and buy a couple of perks for virtual money. 4 forces entered the confrontation: the guli, the institute, the railroad and the khans. Each force had own goal and tasks. The course of action of the participants could change with time: the forces formed unions and defended own interests side by side. As to money, the organizers adopted an unconventional approach here: bottle lids were used as the payment method – all in the best tradition of the Fallout. Players could use the ‘finance’ to buy food, to have a couple of glasses of drink and leave a tip to the barman for giving them a timely boost of energy. The game became memorable not only for precise shooting, but also for the dungeons – the improvised hideouts occupied by raiders. It took over an hour to pass through the locations. No laser tag technologies were used inside: it all depended on how alert, deft and resourceful the players were. All those who successfully reached the exit were awarded with valuable prizes. The contest ended with a concert at which the participants could enjoy top Russian rock songs and a nutritious dinner. The evening meal replenished the fighters’ energy before their departure back home. Dear friends, the moment everyone has been waiting for so long has finally arrived. Today, we are announcing the launch of sales of the smart control point. The requirements to laser tag equipment are getting stricter year by year. Players are in need of truly intelligent devices: the electronics must process all game events in automatic mode without any faults. Besides that, every device is expected to have stylish design, loud audio output, bright indication and reliability. All these assets have been combined in our smart control point. Here are further details about the look, functions, possibilities and the cost of the device. OUTWARD ASPECTS Our bold MILSIM style control point will look cool at any military sports game. The display, the digital sound, the statistics and the scenarios make our new control point smart in every sense. --- Indication panel Say, let’s start with the brightest section at the top of the device – the indication panel. Unlike devices of older generations, here the indication panel is fitted with 80 LEDs and a bright semi-segment display. The LEDs are divided to form 2 circular figures: 32 LEDS form an external circle, while the remaining 48 LEDs form an internal one. The external circle displays the colour of the team that has captured the device. The internal scale is for indicating the process of capturing and holding. As we were designing the new device, we wanted to ensure that players wouldn’t have to keep round time in their mind and wouldn’t have to keep calculating how much time was remaining till the victory. Therefore, all these details can be viewed on the semi-segment display which is located at the top of the device as well. There is a direct connection between the design of the indication panel and its functions. When designing a product, we always think about how convenient it is going to be to the user. Therefore, the design is void of unnecessary elements. We have integrated special areas for infrared emitters, a special frame for the display, while the internal LEDs scale is framed with a yellow and red line. The industrial design is a characteristic feature of all the line of LASERWAR equipment. There is an invisible thread connecting all the elements from the top section. Once you turn on the control point, it will unleash its potential to 110%. The bright indication, the intense colours and the explicit modes display – this is what laser tag players all over the world deserve. --- Protective casing The new device is protected throughout. When developing the protective casing we drew our inspiration from the reactive armour used on tanks. The smart control point has a bold look, while all the electronic elements are well protected. There are 4 protective casing colours to choose from: black, pixel, multicam and woodland. We have included in the construction straps for carrying the equipment. Now, players won’t have to carry the control point under their arm nor attach improvised grips to it. All smart control points come fitted with comfortable straps and reliable stitching by default. To liven up the design, we have added some contrasting elements. There are three fabric stripes with pictographs on the device that stand out against other details. You can replace them with stripes that have the emblems of your own laser tag club. --- Control elements All the control elements are located at the bottom section of the control point. There are not a lot of them: an admin button, an activation switch, a charger inlet – we stick with the principle ‘turn on and play’, so no additional manipulations are required. The buttons and the inlets have been embedded into openings fitted with grommets. The fabric round the buttons won’t tear and the device will still look tidy after a dozen of games. We have given due consideration to the base of the control point. To make the construction more stable, we have fixed it with a metal ring. The device will survive any strain during games and won’t become loose around the base after lengthy laser tag battles. THE STUFFING There is a lithium-ion accumulator inside the device with a capacity of 3000 mAh. The device will operate for 8 hours, after that it will have to be recharged. Our control point is a real revelation for the fans of large-scale and lengthy battles. The device is equipped with a powerful speaker with a class D amplifier. Inside the stripper clip of the smart control point, there are 25 digital sounds. No fizz, distortion or beeping sound – we are sure that you will be able to evaluate the quality and range of sound. The photo sensors of the device have been fitted in such a way that only the player near the control point will be able to capture it. Ricochets and accidental captures are now a thing of the past. SCENARIOS 3 basic scenarios have been built into the software. In them, we have used the possibilities of the smart control point to the maximum. Now the device is not just a glowing post on a battlefield. The device can support allies, restore health and ‘award’ rivals with infrared impulses. As we were developing the device, we drew our inspiration from the Battlefield game and indoor laser tag technologies. We took the best from various areas and combined all that in one device: the smart control point will make players sweat. We can guarantee that you will experience the joy of victory and the feeling of happiness. --- Сontrol point capture In this scenario, you must capture the device by firing into it. As you shoot the device, the external ring will acquire the colour of the shooter’s team, the capture process will be displayed on the circular scale and the countdown till capture will begin on the indicator. After a shot has been fired, there will be a short delay and an impulse will be produced through the infrared channel of the negative influence (providing that it has been preset in the configuration). After the time has run out the control point will be captured. A player from the opposing team can interrupt the current process by firing a shot into the control point and initiate its capture by his own team. If the opposing team interrupts the capture process the player from that team can start the capture process by shooting the control point for the second time. After the control point has been captured the external ring will flash the colour of the winning team and all teams’ capture statistics will be displayed on a circular scale. As you push the button, you will switch between the participating teams and see the time it took each team to capture the control point. --- Battlefield point In this scenario, there are two moments a player must be aware of: capture time and holding time. The key feature of the scenario is, the more players simultaneously attempt to capture the control point, the sooner this will be achieved. The scenario is otherwise the same as the one previously mentioned except for the fact that the control point must be held for a certain time after it has been captured. At that, the device will memorize the holding time. After the control point has been held for a preset time, the game will end and the statistics with the total holding time for each team will be displayed in the form of a circular diagram. --- Command centre Initially, a control point belongs to one of the teams (or awaits the first shot for establishing a team owner). The control point has a definite number of strength points. If it has not been damaged, after preset stretches of time, it generates a positive influence impulse for the team owner. If a player from a rival team shoots the control point, the control point will lose the number of strength points that corresponds to the shooting power. Upon that, a negative influence impulse will be generated (if these settings have been selected in the configuration). After the preset time has run out, the control point will begin to restore. After the strength points have been restored to their nominal value, the control point will generate positive impulses for its team again. If the control point has been shot for the second time and there are no strength points left, the control point will be deemed destroyed and the game will be over. The total number of the ‘taken’ strength points by each team will be displayed on a circular diagram. One can view the statistics of the strength points ‘taken’ by each team by pushing the button. MODES OF OPERATION --- Working mode On activation, the device enters working mode. The current scenario number will be displayed on the indicator. Time left to the scenario start will be displayed on the circular scale and on the indicator. You can switch between scenarios by pushing the button. Sending the ‘New game’ command through the infrared channel will interrupt the current game and a new countdown will begin. When the ‘New game’ command is sent, the current scenario will be immediately launched or restarted. --- Admin mode To enter Admin mode, turn on the device, making sure that you are pushing and holding the button at the same time. When you are in Admin mode, you can change scenario settings either by means of an infrared base or on the device itself. On changing the parameter, the position that is being edited will flash. To move on to editing the older category, hold the button for more than 3 seconds. To exit parameter editing mode, hold the button for more than 3 seconds on the older category. A new misfire mode and game time count have been added in the 9th generation of firmware. The algorithm of anti-cheat operation has been reconsidered and the stability of interconnection between a headband and a blaster has been improved. Here are all the details about each update. SMART CONTROL POINT PARAMETERS It has now been made possible to set up a new control point through a laser tag configurator. The required parameters can be found in the ‘Devices’ section. To alter values, turn on the device in admin mode and place a USB base in front of infrared sensors. After the configurator has found the control point, click on ‘send’ and wait for successful sending confirmation. All is utterly clear and simple: if you have ever tried setting up play sets through a USB base, you won’t have any problems with a smart control point either. Our program has user friendly design so any laser tag player will take it in. MISFIRE MODE Every time LASERWAR equipment gets updated, it acquires new work modes which are characteristic of real combat weapons. Barrel overheating, automatic and single fire modes – all these have been realised on program level. Misfire algorithm has been added to the existing parameters. According to statistic data, misfire is one of the most frequent problems owners of combat weapons have to face. Therefore, we have decided to add this element of reality to the new firmware of the 9th generation blasters. Misfire kicks in randomly: when a player pulls the trigger, he will hear a typical sound but the weapon won’t fire. To restore correct operation of the weapon, push the reloading button several times. Now laser tag games will have accidental occurrences which may fling any game situation upside down. As we have been anticipating sceptic questions, we have prepared ready answers: it is unlikely that misfire may affect the result of a game. It wasn’t our goal to create ‘irritating’ mode that would help a weak team win. As always, those are consolidated teams that are going to win in laser tag. At the same time, games will become more memorable and dynamic. GAME TIME COUNT A real gift for all rental club owners. We have added a parameter to equipment firmware that reads blaster operation time. When a blaster is on, each minute gets registered in the energy dependant memory. From now on, you can see the details of how many ‘combats’ the equipment has been through and compare them to the data communicated by an instructor. The device operates by the same principle as the widely known odometer used on vehicles. To view the values of the parameter, follow these steps: 1. Launch the configurator. 2. Turn on the blaster in the configuration mode. 3. Move on to ‘Send’ section and click on ‘Read’. 4. In the window that pops up you will see weapon and game time parameter (T). ANTI-CHEAT AND MAINTAINING STABLE CONNECTION We have thoroughly examined the algorithm of anti-cheat operation and improved the stability of the headband – weapon interconnection. The possibility that the connection between a headband and a blaster may break has been brought down to a minimum. A new principle of connection testing has been applied: now, connecting and reconnecting happens in an instant. Besides, sound indication system of the process of connection has been added. We keep improving our equipment every day as we want to make sure our users won’t need to get distracted by trifle things. Victory on a battlefield can only be secured by fully devoting oneself to the matter. HOW TO UPDATE The new firmware and laser tag configurator are now available at a special section of our website.
