  1. Arena laser tag is evolving, and the approach to equipment is changing with it. Classic wired systems remain a reliable solution for commercial arenas, but now there is a new format: wireless AlphaTag Arena sets. This is a professional wireless platform for arena laser tag, created using LASERWAR expertise and unique arena technologies from CYBERTAG. Why is AlphaTag Arena a strong choice for business? The key difference of the system is a new reliable wireless connection between the blaster and the vest. Players get more freedom of movement and a more complete game experience, while operators can run an intensive flow of games more easily during peak hours. Arena equipment is used every day: children's parties, corporate events, school groups, tournaments, and back-to-back sessions require stable operation without complicated preparation. That is why the AlphaTag Arena architecture is not just a technological update, but a tool for improving operating convenience, visual impact, and the commercial efficiency of an arena. What is included in the system? The lineup is based on the Pulsar blaster and the Protector vest. The blaster features a color IPS display, Ambi Light 2.0 illumination, a second-hand sensor, and a 5500 mAh battery that provides up to 50 hours of autonomous set operation. The Protector vest is made from a durable, lightweight, and hypoallergenic material. It has bright indication, vibration feedback, and an 8000 mAh battery, allowing it to operate for up to 36 hours without recharging. The system supports more than 20 game scenarios and is compatible with additional devices: digital flags, medkits, game bases, mines, grenades, targets, and other equipment for expanding scenarios. You can learn more about the wireless arena concept on the AlphaTag website, while equipment and ready-made solutions are available from LASERWAR. The AlphaTag Arena lineup is designed for different business scales: from a compact starter arena to a large entertainment center with high throughput. To show the logic of the configuration, let us review the AlphaTag Arena Start set as an example. The other sets keep the same basic structure: Pulsar blasters, Protector vests, charging infrastructure, a remote control, scenario devices, and network equipment. The number of game sets, chargers, and additional devices changes according to the arena scale. AlphaTag Arena Start Set for 12 players. An optimal option for launching a small arena, testing a new business direction, or upgrading an existing club. The set includes: Pulsar blaster - 10 pcs; Protector vest - 12 pcs; Digital flag - 2 pcs; Basic medkit - 2 pcs; Smart Remote PRO v.2 - 1 pc; Spider charger - 2 pcs; USB Type-C charging station - 2 pcs; Router - 1 pc. Bonus gift: 2 Pulsar blasters! The other sets follow the same principle, but they are designed for more players and higher throughput. AlphaTag Arena Optima Set for 18 players. A good balance between launch cost and commercial capacity. Suitable for clubs that plan to run group games, birthday parties, school events, and corporate games without constant limits on the number of participants. AlphaTag Arena Smart Set for 24 players. A universal solution for a full-scale commercial arena. This configuration already allows confident operation with large groups, team formation, tournament scenarios, and strong weekend revenue at high occupancy. AlphaTag Arena Pro Set for 30 players. A choice for arenas with serious traffic. The package includes more game sets, more charging infrastructure, and additional scenario equipment. The PRO set also includes the Perimeter nuclear suitcase, which expands the range of game variations and scenarios. The AlphaTag Arena Pro set is the foundation for a full-fledged entertainment project. AlphaTag Arena Elite Set for 36 players. The maximum configuration for large venues, chain clubs, and arenas where high throughput matters. Elite makes it possible to run large-scale sessions, tournaments, corporate battles, and scenario games with many participants. Who are these sets for? AlphaTag Arena is suitable for entrepreneurs opening a new laser tag arena, owners of existing clubs who want to improve and expand their operations, and entertainment centers that need a bright, technological, and reliable attraction with clear economics and organization. For children, safety, light weight, and visual effects matter. For teenagers and adults, the priorities are dynamics, accurate hit registration, a clear interface, and the feeling of a modern game. For the business owner, the key factors are equipment durability, easy maintenance, and the ability to launch game scenarios quickly without complex preparation. The AlphaTag Arena project combines the company's experience in electronics, software, and commercial solutions for clubs. For a business owner, this means not only purchasing equipment, but also gaining access to expertise: set selection, launch consulting, arena design, support, scenarios, additional equipment, and assistance with project development after opening. If you need an arena that looks modern, works reliably, and avoids unnecessary complexity, AlphaTag Arena is an excellent choice. For details, contact LASERWAR managers. They will help you choose a set for your venue size, budget, and club format. View all available laser tag sets on the LASERWAR sets page. 2. Sports and technology on one arena: "Games of the Future 2026" to be held in Astana! From July 29 to August 9, the capital of Kazakhstan will host an international multisport tournament in the phygital format. This is a competition where the digital part merges with the physical: participants first battle in a virtual environment and then meet on a real-world playing field. The program includes 8 disciplines: Phygital Football Phygital Basketball Phygital Dancing Phygital Shooter Battle Royale MOBA PC MOBA Mobile Phygital Fighting For us, the Phygital Shooter discipline is especially important. This is a direction where digital combat is combined with physical gameplay on a laser tag arena. This is where laser tag becomes part of the sport of the future: not just entertainment, but a full-fledged competitive discipline at the intersection of technology, strategy, and physical activity. The tournament will bring together athletes from different countries, with a total prize pool of over $4 million. The competitions will take place at Astana's largest sports venues, including Barys Arena, BEELINE ARENA, the Qazaqstan Sports Complex, and the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace. The "Games of the Future" showcase what next-generation sports can look like: reaction speed, strategy, teamwork, physical fitness, and technology are all equally important here. We are following the development of the phygital movement and are excited to see laser tag taking its rightful place in the international sports scene!
  3. If you're opening an arena, it's important to understand right away: these aren't just "different names" — they're different business models. Let's break it down by the key parameters. Arena. Laser tag can be launched almost anywhere — the main thing is that the space allows for safety regulations to be followed. Cybertag requires a well-designed labyrinth: safe corners, built-in effects, and zoning. It's more expensive at the start, but delivers a strong wow-effect. Scenarios. In classic laser tag, the mechanics are simple and straightforward: "capture the flag," "everyone against everyone." In cybertag, scenarios are dynamic — objects appear and disappear, conditions change, and there are interactive elements (doors, turrets, medkits). However, the variety of gameplay depends not only on the equipment but also on the features of the space itself. This approach boosts engagement and increases guest dwell time. Effects. Laser tag focuses on realism: weapon replicas, tactical interaction. Cybertag focuses on atmosphere: RGB lighting synchronized with in-game events, and background music. Round management. With some generations of laser tag equipment, the administrator manually manages rounds and collects statistics. In cybertag, everything is in a single system: launch, pause, results, rankings — all with one button. Plus detailed analytics: who scored how many hits, how long they survived, and which zones were the hottest. For the entrepreneur. Laser tag means a quick start and a clear ROI. Cybertag offers a higher average check, repeat visits, and strong marketing due to its uniqueness. Want to figure out which format suits your city and budget? Our managers will answer your questions and help you choose the most profitable option based on your specific needs.

You can now use the remote as a USB base station. Simplified remote connection to the software. Simply connect the remote to your PC using a USB Type‑C cable. Once connected to the configurator, the remote will appear in the lower‑left corner of the application. Added the ability to reflash the Smart Remote PRO v.2 via the "Settings" menu → "Smart PRO 2 Remote Update" option. The USB base station function for the Smart Remote PRO v.2 is only available on the new firmware. We recommend updating. The new version of the LASERTAG CONFIGURATOR application is available for download on the website in the "Software" section. Firmware for the Smart Remote PRO can be downloaded on the website in the "Firmware" section.
  5. Before a laser tag game begins, the instructor transforms into a superhero: checking equipment, changing settings, assigning teams, and preparing additional devices. Every minute counts. That’s why LASERWAR has released the Smart Remote PRO v.2. The main advantage of the new device is the simple and fast activation of the USB base function. To configure the equipment, simply connect the Smart Remote PRO v.2 to a computer using a standard USB Type-C cable. The device will be instantly recognized in the LASERWAR Configurator. The menu has become clearer, and navigation is now faster. The Smart Remote PRO v.2 features a color OLED display with user-friendly information display. Six control buttons provide access to more than 45 commands, allowing the instructor to change weapon settings, assign teams, replenish ammunition, select a character preset, or adjust IR output power in just seconds. The device casing and design have also been updated. The textured plastic sits securely in the hand, and the new button markings are easy to read even during active use. The built-in battery provides over 27 hours of continuous operation! Charging is done via a standard USB Type-C port, and it is compatible with virtually any modern charger. The Smart Remote PRO v.2 means fewer unnecessary steps when setting up equipment and more time for what truly matters.

  7. Friends, alongside the release of new generations, we haven't forgotten about improving the existing ones. We've prepared a fresh firmware update for the 9th-generation lasertag equipment. Our engineers have been fine-tuning the internal settings to make the game even more comfortable. What's changed: Improved shot accuracy – fewer accidental triggers, everything is fair and clear. Enhanced the reliability of communication between the headband and the weapon – the signal is now stronger and more stable. Refined the logic: the system now distinguishes direct hits from reflected beams much better – stray "hits" are a thing of the past. Sound effects are triggered almost instantly, so you'll hear hit and reload signals right away. Stabilized the interaction between equipment components. Just power on and play! The update is ready for installation. Where to find it? On the website, in the "Support" → "Firmware downloads" section. Version 9.02.82. Update now to get the most out of your lasertag equipment.
  8. Our engineers have accelerated the recharging process for gaming equipment. We are pleased to announce the upgrade of the popular "Spider" charger! Laser tag game sets now charge 20% faster. The power circuit has been revised – the device now delivers a stable charging current across all 6 outputs. Internal components have been redesigned to ensure efficient power transfer without any loss of stability. When connecting fully discharged equipment, a full charge takes from 3 hours. The exact time depends on the battery's remaining charge level. The updated "Spider" retains all the benefits of gentle charging – overcharge and overheating protection – while noticeably speeding up club or arena preparation for the game.
  9. Our products are now exported to 101 countries, and LASERWAR equipment is present on all continents except Antarctica. We are proud that one in five laser tag licenses in the world belongs to our company. This status places great responsibility on us, and we have approached this new stage fully prepared. New facilities = new opportunities We have expanded our production infrastructure: modern machines, reinforced production lines, additional equipment – all designed for our tasks with a focus on multi‑fold productivity growth. LASERWAR has once again shipped a large batch of products to various countries around the world: Colombia, Israel, Iraq, Japan, New Zealand. Thanks to the expansion, we can ship more orders, assemble them faster – while still maintaining an individual approach to every client. LASERWAR is not just equipment. It's high technology that works around the globe.

  11. "ALPHATAG" is getting brighter and better every day… So, the update isn't long in coming. Here's everything you need to know — make yourself comfortable. The new features fall into three categories. 1. Functionality enhancements. More features – wider smiles. Seven parameters are available for editing: health points (1-250 HP, with the option to set infinite HP); ammo count (1-250, with the option to set infinite ammunition); IR power; ID; team color; damage; rate of fire. Local device statistics can be read out. Based on user requests, the range and step size for the "Auto-respawn time" parameter have been adjusted. In new firmware, it will range from 1 to 120 seconds. For older firmware, the range remains unchanged (1 to 2550). 2. Design update. We've redesigned the start lobby window to make it less cluttered. The absence of visual noise lets you focus on the core functionality. 3. Bug fixes and optimization. Fixed the operation of the LEDs on hit sensors. Previously, while in an invulnerable state, the sensor would flash in response to shots. This distorted the perception of team players. The update ensures the equipment responds to in-game events as clearly and intuitively as possible. Maximum convenience, comfort, and vivid emotions — combined with thoroughly refined and intuitive functionality — will make your game even more exciting. IMPORTANT: The new version 2.3.60 will be available for download shortly. Firmware 11.01.15.69 (sensors) and 11.03.15.48 (taggers) are already published on the alphatag.com website.
  12. This generation was designed as a new benchmark for arena laser tag — dynamic, spectacular, and completely wireless! ALPHATAG ARENA debuts with the new “DEFENDER” vest and the “PULSAR” blaster. For the first time in arena laser tag, fully wireless communication between the vest and the blaster has been achieved. We have developed a new electronic platform that ensures reliable, lag‑free, interference‑resistant connectivity. No wires — just total immersion and enjoyment of the gameplay. Key benefits: Wireless connection Color IPS-display and lighting system Second‑hand sensor Futuristic body design High‑capacity 5000 mAh battery Proprietary software ALPHATAG ARENA is the perfect alternative to wired cybertag. At the heart of the PULSAR lies an innovative control architecture. Instead of multiple processors, a single high‑performance controller instantly processes all game events and ensures stable operation of the equipment. The blaster body is complemented by a soft front bumper and a rubber stock, and the dimensions are optimized for fast‑paced close‑quarters combat. Inside the Defender vest — high‑capacity batteries. Fully charged battery lasts an entire working day. Type‑C support allows the vest to be fully charged in just three hours. But the arena of the future is not only about blasters and vests. ALPHATAG ARENA supports digital flags, combat bases, checkpoints, digital bombs, mines, interactive targets, and other devices. Such a set can only be found within the LASERWAR ecosystem!
  13. One more benchmark operators share with us privately: keep equipment capex under 45% of total launch budget if you are renting the space. Above that, payback stretches unless you own the building. Share your region and party/walk-in split — even rough numbers help others planning 2026 openings. — LASERWAR team
  14. From what we see across partner clubs in EU and CIS, a 400–600 m² indoor site with decent location usually lands between 14 and 28 months to full capex payback — not the “8 months” some franchises advertise. Rough pattern: Strong mall / tourist location: 12–18 months if occupancy stays above 35% on weekends. Secondary city, word-of-mouth only: 24–36 months is common. Biggest cost surprise: staffing + local marketing, not taggers. Break-even on operations (rent + payroll covered) often comes month 4–8 if you sell parties aggressively from day one. We are happy to collect anonymous ranges here and publish a summary table for newcomers. — LASERWAR team
  15. Meet the new laser tag target "SWIFT"! LASERWAR has developed an aerial target. Accuracy training in laser tag goes beyond static exercises! "SWIFT" moves along a trajectory unknown to the shooter and abruptly changes speed. The new "SWIFT" target attaches to an RC aircraft and turns the game into a full-fledged scenario with aerial targets. Eight sensors create an enlarged hit zone. During training, you develop skills in shooting at moving objects. The RC aircraft is operated by an operator. The shooter has to react to sharp maneuvers and change their gameplay tactics on the fly. "SWIFT" is designed for intensive use: withstands field conditions; suitable for various game scenarios. What do you need besides the target? A tagger with Parallax optics, such as the AK-15 "Warrior" or AK-74M "Golden Eagle". "SWIFT" is a challenge for those who value realism and are ready for anything.
