Small indoor fields make CTF tricky: spawn camping, one choke point, runaway scores.

Map designers & marshals:

  • flag placement rules you use
  • respawn timing
  • barriers that create two lanes
  • modes you rotate when CTF stalls
  • 4 months later...

Two lanes on 300 m² really starts with where you put the spawn doors. Staggering them on opposite corners and keeping flags near the center line, rather than tucked into corners, cuts down on one team camping a single choke. For respawns, a short 8–10 second delay with a brief no-fire spawn shield usually keeps things moving without letting the defending side snowball. When a match stalls around a stalemate, rotating to a mid-flag or short-timer sudden-death mode has worked in other small-arena formats I have read about. Curious whether your field has walls or open boundaries.
