Nathan Brown Posted yesterday at 06:24 PM Posted yesterday at 06:24 PM I run a small laser tag site here in Birmingham and mostly handle the admin and floor shifts rather than playing, so my own fitness has slipped. I'm looking at a recumbent exercise bike for the back office so I can get some low-impact cardio in between bookings instead of sitting at the desk all day. What I'm unsure about is whether a recumbent bike actually helps with the kind of stop-start stamina laser tag demands, or if it's too passive compared to rowing or a treadmill. I don't want to spend the money and find I'm just pedalling without any real benefit. Space in the office is also tight, which is part of why the recumbent appeals. Has anyone here used a recumbent bike to build stamina for running around the arena or for general fitness? Keen to hear what worked for you. Quote
