Dimensions 23x23x32 cm Weight 1.2 kg Set-up mode:  To enter the set-up section: after the device has been started, hold the button on top of the Point. Note that you should be in the scenario selection menu. The device will go into the set-up mode. The first option: selecting Russian or English language support, the selection is made by a short tap on the button. Confirm the selection by pressing the button for a long time. Round time option. The selection is performed by the main button, and the confirmation - by long press. Number of lives option. The section is performed by the main button. Hold the button for a long time to confirm. All actions in the set-up mode are duplicated by audible prompts. Game scenarios: Time Point After the start of the game, the timer on the OLED display starts counting down the time until the end of the round. The Point awaits the shot of one of the opposing teams. In this scenario up to 4 teams can play. To hit the Point, press the button located on the upper part of the body and then within 5 seconds from the moment you press it, shoot directly into the same button. A hit will be counted and the holding time will start. In case of capture by another team, a holding time for that team will start. The data of the last two teams who captured the device is shown simultaneously on the screen. At the end of the round time, the device emits the color of the team that managed to hold it for the longest amount of time and waits for a reboot. To repeat the game with the same parameters you need to press the button. Time Captures During the first start up, the Point expects to register teams. To do that, you need to shoot at the device with one of the teams' taggers (you can also use a remote by previously choosing the right color), after which one of the indicator strips will light up with the corresponding color. Next, select the second team by shooting from the tagger or using the remote. After selecting the team colors, start the round by pressing the central triangular button. After that, the round countdown will begin. The players need to hit the device to start pumping time: "stealing" it from the opposing team. To do that, press the button and shoot at it holding the trigger for 5 seconds. The hit will be counted. Then the process of pumping out the time of the opposite team will begin. This process is clearly shown on the light indicators. The winning team is the one that pumps out all the time from the opponent or captures more time until the end of the round. After the end of the round, the Point will flash with the color of the winning team. To reload the round, click on the button, a new round will start with the same team color settings. If you want to change the colors of teams, reload the Point, select this scenario and "repaint" the device with new colors of the teams. Time Gate At the beginning of the round the device waits for the color of the team holding the gate to be selected. Once the color is selected, the round will begin. The opposing team needs to destroy the gate during the round. The gate has a certain number of lives, one life is one shot. To defeat the gate, press the button at the top of the device and shoot at it holding the trigger for 5 seconds. The hit will be counted and one health point (life) will be deducted. The team that managed to destroy all the gate energy or save it during the round wins. At the end of the round, it can be run again with the same team settings.

Welcome a new member in the CYBERTAG family! We have one new client on our map of customers. This time the playground based on LASERWAR branded equipment will be opened in the Spanish town of Salou, on the Costa Daurada. The project of the arena on individual order was created by Elena Vilkova, designer of the company. Let us remind you that LASERWAR not only manufactures and sells equipment for outdoor laser tag, but also creates design turnkey projects of laser tag arenas. The ATRACCIО́N LASER playground is just another project out of the many. Her owner is our long-time client and partner Kristina Novozhilova. The editor of LASERWAR contacted Kristina and asked her about the new project and the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. Russian laser tag in a Spanish resort Kristina has been working with LASERWAR since 2013. In 2012, she decided to open an entertainment centre in Salou. This is a very popular tourist resort 100 kilometres from Barcelona. At that time there was almost no entertainment for kids over 7 years old. Except for the famous PortAventura - a huge amusement park where you won't go every day. Our interlocutor conceived to create a place where you can play laser tag, visit the laser bank (manoeuvring between the laser beams like in the "Mission: Impossible" movie) and a unique for Europe maze of 3D horrors. - About a year we were renovating and then we opened a 600 square meter arena, Kristina recalls. - The laser tag site was equipped with outdoor Phoenix game sets, because then CYBERTAG was still under development at that time. I note that we chose LASERWAR products without long hesitation. They even came to Smolensk on purpose, talked to the directors. Before that, we were looking for equipment in both America and Europe, but the prices were much higher. Your offer seemed the most interesting and competitive. And now that there are more manufacturers, we stay with LASERWAR because we trust the company. Kristina's project was fully customized for tourists. On the sea coast there are always a lot of tourists, morning and afternoon they spent time on the beach and excursions, and in the evening - they would come to play in the entertainment centre. Every week, new people came and the flow of clients was constant. Locals celebrated their birthdays in the entertainment centre. For them, it was very profitable, as the cost did not exceed 15 Euros per person for two games of laser tag plus a small snack. Moving and new arena A few years later, Kristina decided to buy CYBERTAG rental equipment. - We had a closed room, so we decided to switch to specialized equipment, - she explains. - In addition, the entertainment centre is of multi-purpose kind. There's a video game room for older kids, a separate playroom for kids ages 4-7, plus a café with a terrace where parents can relax while the kids frolic. You can also have a snack, drink a cocktail, play pool, football and darts. There are also tables for eating and board games - backgammon, chess and parchís, which is popular among Spaniards. But the entrepreneur had to part with the old room 1.5 years ago. - It was a terrible pity to lose so much investment, but we could not agree with the owners to reduce the rent, - complains Kristina. - In January of this year, we finally found more or less suitable options for premises. It wasn't easy, as Salou has almost no large sites, and the available ones cost a lot. We asked LASERWAR for help. Elena Vilkova made for us a wonderful arena project, taking into account that it is only 130 square meters! We know it's very small, but there's nothing local to compare it to. If all goes well, we'll open a separate room next door. As a result, a small area will turn into a colourful arena, decorated in space themes. The designer took into account all the wishes of the client: to maximize the use of elements from the past arena, create a second game level and fewer partitions. Plans: unfulfilled and future ones The COVID pandemic turned the way of life upside down. The tourism industry was particularly hard hit, and our partners felt it badly. - Our income depends on tourism only. We planned to make money in the summer, but the pandemic turned all the plans upside down, says the woman. - We are still lucky that the owner of the new premises is an adequate person who extended our vacation for 3 months and reduced the rent by 30% during the year. That will really help us! But during the forced holidays, we were able to competently plan every meter of the new premises. We're opening on August 15. There is a chance to take back what has been spent and switch to a quiet winter mode of working with the local population in autumn. Now everything is gradually returning to its former life, but it is unlikely to be the same! All hope for the upcoming year. By the way, in 2021 Kristina plans to open a service centre on the basis of her club.

Not for nothing laser tag is called a military tactical game. It has its own rules and tricks. To succeed, it is important not only to know, but also to apply them in practice. Today we will talk about how to play laser tag to win. General tips 1. The main mistake of all newcomers to laser tag is to unite in a group and move around the playground as if they were a "mighty hoard". It is clear that an inexperienced player subconsciously wants to stay close to a team mate, but in this case the whole team becomes an easy target. So, the first and main tip is to spread out. 2. Remember, you are a part of the team, so you act with the general interests in mind, unless the scenario provides otherwise. 3. Do not stay in one place, or the opponent will quickly detect and hit you. Laser tag is a constant movement. 4. Change your position, keep firing at your opponents. Movie in short bursts from one shelter to another. 5. Do not panic when you see the enemy. Act calmly, but quickly. Do not be afraid to open fire immediately, but do not shoot at random, try to aim first. Important: the closer the enemy, the narrower the IR beam of the tagger. So, aim more carefully near the target. 6. Use the specifics of the terrain to your advantage. Set up ambushes, move from obstacle to obstacle to make hitting you a difficult task. 7. Play actively. You can't win by sitting in a shelter. 8. Be mindful and make sure not to place the sensors under fire at all times. And don't break the game rules. "Monkey business", – a violation when a player covers the sensors of the headband with his hand or clothes – is strictly prohibited in laser tag. 9. Don't waste a lot of time following your opponent while sitting in the shelter. Look out once and change your position. If you're spotted, you're probably on the opponent's crossings, and as soon as you show up again, you'll be hit. 10. Do not hide in enclosed spaces with only one exit. You should always have a way to retreat. Recommendations for teams Each team needs to work out a common strategy, think out the game tactics, decide on the roles. The following will be useful: – Come up with short, clear phrases to make it easier to interact on the playground. With their help, you will signal the allies during the battle. – Study in advance the playground of future games. Then you will not get lost in the first minutes of the game and will not let yourself get caught off guard. – Determine the placement of players on the playground, just like they do in football. This way, you will avoid chaotic movements and collisions on the playground. How to achieve full team interaction? To win the laser tag, the team must act as one. Chaotic movements on the playground will make players easy targets for an experienced opponent. – Always conduct attacks involving multiple players at the same time. Move from different directions to make it harder for the enemy to neutralize the attackers. – Cover your allies thoughtfully. Make sure you do not end up in the same line of fire as your team's players. Move around the playground carefully, watch for profitable positions, try not to get caught in open fire. It's possible to enter the line of fire if you want to draw fire or if the whole team is going into attack. If moving around the playground is risky, stay where you are and ensure the safety of your comrades by firing continuously at the enemy. – Do not forget to help teammates to get rid of the pursuit of the enemy, if you see that he is running after them. And, in turn, ask your allies for help in advance so that they can neutralize your pursuers in time. – During a defensive battle, seek out an advantageous ambush position and cover your teammates. Territory capture tips If you manage to hit the enemy, do not waste time and quickly take this position. After that you can "get" other players of the opposing team who can't see you. This way you can weaken the defense and prevent your opponents from launching an attack. In addition, to capture more territory, you can fire continuously from the cover at the already wounded player. The prospect of losing game points will make him leave the position. To take control of as much of the playground as possible, spread out and play at a small distance from each other. This way you can better see what's going on around you and cover your allies. The option, when you need unite into a big group, is possible if you have to defend the base or protect a hostage. In this case, gather in a small circle and shoot off the enemies in different directions. Regarding tactics. Defense strategy This strategy can be just as effective as the attacking one. The main thing is to act clearly, coherently and follow the basic rules. Here they are: – Set ambushes. Such a maneuver will cause significant damage if the surprise factor is preserved. Your losses will be minimal. – Support the defenders. For example, a separate squad can cover the defense fighters in case the enemy suddenly hits from the rear. Or the squad could distract the attackers. – Keep moving regardless of the chosen tactics. Remember: the most vulnerable target is a motionless target. Regarding tactics. Attacking strategy The main force of such a team is an assault squad. Experienced assaulters know that you have to act carefully and in a well–arranged manner. A chaotic attack will quickly "choke up" and the team will suffer significant losses. Here the following advice will be useful: – Act quickly and as a team, attack with a single front. Your pressure and confident actions will make your opponents take a back seat and give up victory. – Try to lure the opponent to the line of fire. Be provocative and upset your opponents' plans forcing them to make mistakes; it will be easier for you to turn the tide of the battle. – Use distraction maneuvers. For example, you can send an assault squad into a direct attack, which will distract the enemy's main forces. At this time, a saboteur group will sneak into the enemy's rear and suddenly attack, smashing the enemy into ashes. – Cover your allies. You can act more confidently knowing that your comrades will always cover your back. About ambushes Are you planning to create an ambush and lure the enemy into it? Act in such a way that the maneuver will have maximum effect. – Do not let your allies play shorthanded. – Take care of a reliable protection for the ambush site. – During an attack, you should be able to see as much of the area as possible. – Once you understand that the surprise factor is lost, move on to defense. – While you're waiting in an ambush, sit down and get ready to shoot from your knee. That way you have a better chance of going unnoticed. Of course, the techniques described are just the required base. The team must control the gates before their launch. The gates have a specified number of health points (9 hp by default). The opposing team must attack and hit the gates until they are completely destroyed. Don't forget about the round time. If the first team manages to hold the gates during the round, it wins; if the gates are completely destroyed, the other team wins. Time stealers. In this mode, the device waits first for the two teams to open fire. These teams are given the same amount of time. If one team hits the Time Point, it will drain the other team's time until it has completely run out of time. The winner is the team that either completely stole the time of the enemy team or stole more time during the round. Clash of worlds. In this scenario, the maximum number of teams is 4. Any of the teams can capture the device by pressing a button and confirming the capture with a shot. The color of the Time Point matches the color of the team which captured the device and counts down the total capture time as well as the time left to the end of the round. At the end of the round, the team with the biggest capture time wins. The time of the last two teams which captured the device is displayed on the screen. There is a category of laser tag fighters no assault group can do without. They got used to delivering a barrage to protect their team mates advancing on an enemy and carrying this cumbersome piece of firepower on their shoulders. These players will find our today’s news article particularly interesting. That’s right, we are going to talk about machine gunners. A new robust item from LASERWAR has been added to our arsenal – the laser tag assault machine gun Mk 43 TORNADO of the ORIGINAL edition - and we are going to analyse all the features of this monster in detail. First, though, here are some history facts. This machine gun evolved from the famous line of the American machine guns M60. At the beginning of the 1990s, at the request of the US special operations command, the Saco Defence company refined M60E3 by introducing lots of changes so as to eliminate all the faults and naming it M60E4. In 1995, this machine gun with a so-called ‘assault’ barrel, shortened and increased diameter, was adopted by the US Marine Corps and the US Navy under the name of Mk43. The machine gun was fitted with a fortified bipod, an improved magazine chamber, more durable barrel as well as a more reliable trigger mechanism. To test the Mk 43 barrel for durability, an experiment was conducted: 850 cartridges were fired within 1 minute 45 seconds interval without any interruptions or failures in the operation of the machine gun. The play set presented here is based on an airsoft replica of the Mk 43 by A&K. We recommend this model for personal use, same as with the majority of our models that are based on airsoft guns. Thanks to its unique characteristics, it can become a gem of a personal collection or be added to an arsenal of a club for serious games, in which genuineness of a blaster is more important than its being indestructible. First impression – a helluva piece of equipment! The blaster is very elaborate. Many of the numerous engaging small details of the mechanism do not serve merely for style – they are fully functional. The 6.3 kg weight of the machine gun gives it a realistic touch, offers players a chance to feel like real machine gunners, which also means that they must have a good physical shape. The standard machine gun barrel provides high firing distance – over 250 metres. Body and electronics The weapon has a plastic handguard, handles and stock; the barrel and the receiver are made of aluminium alloys. The removable cartridge box has protective colour fabric over it. On top of the barrel, there is a slide back handle for carrying the machine gun in battles. It can also be carried using a strap pulled through openings in the butt plate and secured with a clasp to an opening near the handguard. To reload the gun, one needs to push the slide forward and then pull it back to the initial position. It must be noted that the slide must be pulled back manually. Fitted inside is a lithium-ion accumulator with a capacity of 2.2 Ah. The machine gun will perform continuously for up to 30 hours. The charger inlet and the indication LED are at the left-hand side of the stock. Any chargers of the Li+ range can be used to charge the set. For example, you can use the Spider. The set is turned on by means of a key, the inlet for which is located at the bottom section of the stock, next to the trigger guard. The speaker is somewhere around there, too. Sights and bipods The blaster is fitted with a regular machine gun sight consisting of a high-positioned foresight and a flip-up rear sight. The rear sight has been constructed in a way that enables horizontal adjustment and focusing control using two sight deflection knobs, which provide an accurate aiming point, as well as magnification control by means of a sight bracket. The foldable telescopic bipods are attached underneath the barrel by means of a pivot joint. By applying pressure to the top section of the bipod you will free the spring lock. After that, the bipods can be set up for use or folded along the handguard. The length of the bipods is adjustable, too. Cartridges box The machine gun comes fitted with a removable box for keeping a cartridge belt in it. In this particular case, it is nothing more than a way of zooming in on its unique character – there are no cartridges inside of it. Yet one can still find it handy by filling it with small essentials, for instance, a couple of sandwiches – a good idea for a long game). Stock, handles and trigger mechanism The stock of the machine gun fits comfortably against one’s shoulder. The forward folding shoulder piece will protect it against  sliding off by accident. The pistol grip is comfortable and feels reliable. There is a two-sided safety catch. When the safety catch thumb piece, located above the grip, is turned, the trigger gets blocked. One can fire the machine gun from a number of positions. For an assault attack during which suppressive fire is applied, there are two pistol grips that allow to hold the weapon relatively easy, considering its weight, while standing, and press it against one’s shoulder. On 6-7 February 2018, the final of the annual Business Success National Award took place. On October 6 and 7 a laser tag tournament for the Cup Top Gun in the city of Ukhta will be held. Its organizers are the famous Komi Republican sports-tactical Top Gun club, a regional branch of the Young Army Cadets movement, the municipal culture center in the name of G. A. Karchevsky. LASERWAR employees representing the Smolensk public organization for sports laser tag also went to the Republic of Komi to support the competition. The participation in such tournaments has become a tradition for our company. Previously, LASERWAR specialists were responsible for holding laser tag competitions dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Kursk battle, regional competitions in the city of Ramenskoye, Moscow region and the international tournament in the Smolensk region. In Komi, representatives of LASERWAR will again act as judges of the tournament. Republican competitions will be held according to the regulations of the sports Federation of laser tag. Battles will unfold on the territory of the sports complex "Burevestnik" in Ukhta. By the way, this is the first tournament in Russia, which will be held in an enclosed area. The competition area will be equipped with inflatable figures from LASERWAR, participants will also use the equipment of the Smolensk manufacturer. The main objectives of the competition – the development of laser tag as one of the elements of pre-conscription training of young people, the promotion of healthy lifestyle and leisure activities, as well as the involvement of children and adults in sports. More than 500 laser tag fans from different cities of the Republic are going to try their luck in the competition. The organizers divided the participants into age categories: boys 6-8 years, girls 6-8 years, girls 9-11 years, boys 9 to 11 years, juniors 12 to 16 years, adults 17 years and older. The tournament will be held in Capture the point mode and based on the Olympic system. The first day of the competition will begin with the registration of teams, continue with instructions and drawing procedures, after which the qualifying round will be held. On October the semi-finals of different age categories will take place, the winners of which will compete in the final fights. The laser tag tournament will end with the awarding of the winners. The branded cross-shaped illumination of the shot – which is part of the optical system – is well visible when playing indoors, in a limited space, but, unlike the killing spot, is dispersed at maximum distance. The laser target indicator module makes the result of the hit visible to the player at the extreme range. The module is placed on the side bar of the Picatinny rail and is connected to the electronics of the device. A well-detectable laser spot will be displayed at the point of impact at the moment of the shot, allowing corrections to be made to the aim. The radiation power of the target indicator is less than 1 mW, which together with the short time pulse of the shot illumination makes it absolutely safe for eyes.
